Chronic Pain & Fibromyalgia - Clinic contact

We cannot see or touch pain, but it’s the body’s way of telling us it has been injured.

Pain can result from a variety of things such as cancer, multiple sclerosis, back and neck problems, and nerve disorders such as shingles and neuralgia.  And pain can be a problem following operations or accidents.

There are two types of pain: fast pain which is sharp – like being pricked with a needle - and slow pain which comes on more slowly leaving a continued dull ache that lasts much longer.

Pain is normally unpleasant and can stop the body functioning normally.  Controlling pain allows the body to recover much more quickly and helps healing.
